EXPERIENCED CFO JOINS CFOS2GO AS PARTNER

JACK DOTY TO ESTBALISH AND LEAD FOOD AND BEVERAGE FINANCE PRACTICE 

CFOs2GO, a leading provider of financial expertise on an interim and consulting basis and recruitment for direct hire positions, today announced that Jack Doty has joined the firm as a Partner and will develop and lead a Food and Beverage Practice.

Jack has a long history in food manufacturing and distribution, most recently in an entrepreneurial role expanding Watlington Foods to over 150 Northern California stores and a presence in China and India. His career has ranged from entrepreneurial startups to major company turn-a-rounds, including being credited with saving Granny Goose Foods from a WARN notice and taking its $3M loss on $35M sales to $5M profit on $105M sales. As acting CFO of $50M Honolulu Shipyards he spearheaded the team that took the company out of pending foreclosure, refinanced it and disposed of under-performing assets, leading to its profitable re-organization. In other packaged goods companies, he placed a local coffee company into Safeway, provided grocery placement for local cake and cookie companies, and provided strategic, sales and financial planning for several well-known brands, including TCHO Chocolates.

In addition to leading the Food & Beverage Practice, Jack will contribute his expertise in co-leading our Non-Profit (NPO) Practice and contributing to the manufacturing industry focus. Jack also has board seats with the San Francisco Chamber of Commerce Foundation, the San Francisco Center for Economic Development and the Steering Committee of the NorCal district of the American Diabetes Association.

Jack is also an active member of the community and is currently a member of the Institute of Management Accountants, the Specialty Food Association, and the Fine Chocolate Industry Association. He is a past director of the San Francisco Coalition for Better Housing and the Association for Corporate Growth and was the founding president and director of both the Lower Nob Hill Apartment Hotel District and the Community Association Management Institute.
